Building Bridges not Borders
Madhubani School Workshops Madhubani art, also known as Mithila painting, is a traditional art form originating from the Mithila region of Bihar, India. It is characterized by its intricate patterns, vibrant colors, and depictions of nature, mythology, and daily life. Madhubani is known for its intricate patterns and designs, which are created using fine lines and geometric shapes. We've been visiting schools across the Solent, sharing Madhubani art with young people and helping them create work that represents their own stories. All the artwork will be displayed digitally during our exhibition in September 2024, but here is some of the fantastic work that the young people have been doing: Beau, Year 9 Isobel, Year 6 Jonah, Year 6 Chloe, Year 6 Pana, Year 9 Isabelle, Year 9
