Building Bridges not Borders

Madhubani art at HPCA puja event

On 22nd October, the Bridges not Borders project hosted a Madhubani art session at the Hampshire Puja and Cultural Association (HPCA) in Chandler's Ford.

Families arrived at the venue, dressed in their finest, to mingle with friends, offer prayers to Durga and enjoy the cultural activities put on by the HPCA team.

The Madhubani art session was enjoyed by people of all ages, and there was such a sense of community present in the room where everyone tried their hand at drawing, colouring, admiring the artwork and taking photographs.

It was a really fun morning for the project team as well, who dressed up a little for the occasion, too!

We had a fantastic time and look forward to the next one!
